Macintosh computers suck. This is fully the third time writing this post, because it keeps deleting it for reasons beyond my understanding. Stupid fucking clear plastic pieces of shit.
You're getting the fucking Reader's Digest version this time.
James and I went and ate at the Eatery last night, and although it was good, I think it's declined. Either that or I am less tolerant of the club-hopping UBC crowd. probably a little of both.
We went out for crepes for dessert, and they served my favorite Imperial Earl Grey tea from T there. So I had a dark chocolate and banana crepe with some imperial earl grey. Fucking YUM!
Then we went and saw the Darkest of the Hillside Thickets play at the Railway Club, and it was totally awesome because lots of my friends were there (let the name-dropping commence: Adrian, Yvonne, Anghold, Stewey, this guy who was my manager at Starbucks, this girl Kirsten who said she reads my blog, Norm, Dahlia... et cetera) and the Thickets played two sets with a 20 minute break in between. They played all of their songs I really like (the Math Song, the Innsmouth Look, the Walkin' on the Moon cover, Shoggoths Away, Mustard Gas, etc), and they even did a little song about me for some reason, and in the next couple of songs after that they inserted my name into the song titles (e.g. "This next song is called 30 minutes of Marlo," or, "This song is called Marlo's Slave Ship.")
I am pretty jacked up on caffeine and pissed off at the computer. James and I are going for a bike ride today. Yay!
